Product Description

Laverneus Coles was drafted by the New York Jets in the third round of the 2000 NFL Draft out of Florida State University. Coles' first touchdown catch occurred on October 23, 2000 during the Jets' Monday Night Miracle victory against the Miami Dolphins. Coles' had an exceptional season in 2002 with the Jets, but then left for the Washington Redskins during the 2002 offseason for more money. While with the Redskins, he made the Pro Bowl in 2003. At the end of the 2004 season, Coles left the Redskins because of a lack of a deep passing game. He was ironically traded back to the Jets in 2005 for Santana Moss. Coles had a disappointing season in 2005 but Chad Pennington helped Coles have a stellar year in 2006. On December 26, 2005, Coles caught the last touchdown pass in Monday Night Football's last game on ABC. This authentic autographed Riddell mini helmet, signed by Laveranues Coles, is accompanied by a Certificate of Authentication. This item would make any New York Jets and/or Laveranues Coles fan cry.
